Dr. Augustine is the Medical Director of the Sleep Lab at MUSC Health Orangeburg Hospital, in South Carolina, since 1993.
He received his internship and residency at Brookdale Hospital, affiliated with SUNY/ Downstate University of New York. There after, he completed a fellowship in the Pulmonary/ Critical Care/ Sleep Disorders Division, at the Department of Medicine at the Winthrop University at Mineola, New York.
He has been certified by the American boards of Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Diseases.
Dr. Augustine has been in practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina for the past 30 years, and his interests focuses on topics such as, sleep apnea, shift work sleep disorder, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless leg syndrome/ periodic limb movement disorder, chronic fatigue/ fibromyalgia and circadian rhythm abnormality.
